Advocates
Capitol On both a state and national level, UW-CTRI has conducted research on — and made recommendations about — polices that would reduce tobacco use. These recommendations have focused primarily on tobacco treatment — how to make medications and coaching more accessible to more smokers, and what policies enhance the likelihood smokers will try to quit and succeed.

Such policies would result in less disease from tobacco use and less money spent on healthcare.
