Free Training, Expertise and Support Services In Your Area

UW-CTRI’s statewide program features Outreach Specialists who provide free training and technical assistance to healthcare providers and administrators at hospitals, clinics and healthcare delivery systems to enhance tobacco treatment. To learn more about what they offer, click here. These strategies are based on the Clinical Practice Guideline: Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence.

To date, UW-CTRI Outreach Specialists have trained more than 10,000 healthcare providers at more than 500 organizations across Wisconsin to intervene effectively with tobacco users. Our regional outreach specialists are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you. We understand the difficulties of translating a treatment guideline into practical strategies for busy healthcare providers.
