number-one cause of disease and death in the United States. The Centers
for Disease Control estimate that it directly causes more than 440,000
deaths each year in America – including 7,000 in Wisconsin. It
also results in more than $1,600 in additional health care expenses
per tobacco user each year, which adds up to billions across the country.
