Innovative
Stop-Smoking Treatments
Michael C. Fiore, M.D., M.P.H., a national expert on
tobacco cessation as well as a practicing physician. He headed the Cessation
Subcommittee of the Interagency Committee on Smoking and Health and
chaired the panel that produced the United States Public Health Service
standard for implementing smoking cessation in clinical practice, Treating

Jorenby, Ph.D., is director of the UW-CTRI

Stevens Smith, Ph.D., directed the Wisconsin
Tobacco Survey, which included information from interviews with

Timothy Baker, Ph.D., a top researcher in tobacco dependence.
Dr. Baker is the associate director of UW-CTRI and serves as pirncipal
investigator on the new UW-TTURC
