Robin Perry, MPH
Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line Coordinator

Robin Perry is coordinator for the Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line, a free, individualized counseling service designed to help Wisconsin smokers quit. Perry’s position involves managing the Quit Line service which is provided by Free and Clear located in Seattle. Washington.

Perry also works with the Fax to Quit program which helps clinicians and others provide the counseling which is such an important component of a successful quit smoking attempt. The Fax to Quit program enables the Quit Line to initiate a call to someone who has professed an interest in quitting smoking. The healthcare provider offers an intervention and medication and the Quit Line provides counseling. These two together can triple or quadruple the success of a quit attempt.

Perry served as a public health educator at the La Crosse County Health Department for five-and-a-half years, focusing on tobacco prevention, maternal/child health issues and cardiovascular risk reduction.
