Tanya Schlam, PhD
Psychologist and Research Associate

Tanya Schlam, PhD, joined UW-CTRI in 2008 as a postdoctoral scholar working with other UW-CTRI researchers to analyze TTURC study data and prepare manuscripts.

Dr. Schlam earned her bachelor’s degree from Yale University and her PhD in clinical psychology from Rutgers. She completed her clinical psychology internship in the University of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry, including an elective rotation at UW-CTRI.

Dr. Schlam’s research interests include:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Methods to enhance attentional control and emotion regulation in order to facilitate lasting behavior change.
