The Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation recently received a $150,000 grant from the Office of Women’s Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help pregnant women quit, and UW-CTRI outreach specialists will assist in implementing the grant by delivering ten trainings at five sites during the next two years.
“Our training and technical assistance will focus on nicotine addiction, the 5 A’s model, the Quit Line and Fax to Quit,” said Rob Adsit, UW-CTRI Outreach Director. The grant, called the Wisconsin Women’s Quit Project, began Sept. 1. |
