Daughter, Mom are Happier & Healthier Now that Mom Quit

Diane Kuhn smoked for years. But when she found a pack of cigarettes in her teenage daughter’s purse, she decided to quit and enrolled in the Wisconsin Smokers' Health Study.

When Diane started the study, she and her daughter, Jenna, both tested high for levels of carbon monoxide in their bodies -- around 20 times the normal level. Now smoke free, they both enjoy normal carbon monoxide readings and have become quite active. They were featured in the June issue of Family Circle magazine (right).
