You CAN Afford to Quit Smoking!

Medication and quit coaching are the two best tools to help you quit smoking.

You can get both FREE by calling the Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line at
1-800-QUIT-NOW (that's 1-800-784-8669).
The Quit Line offers a free two-weekly supply of your choice of the nicotine patch, lozenge or gum, along with free telephone coaching on how to quit from experts.

You may also qualify for free prescription medications. Click here.

Medications and Insurance Coverage
Ask your doctor which medications are right for you. For a complete list of FDA-approved medications to help tobacco users quit, click here.

BadgerCare, Medicaid and Medicare patients are covered for prescription stop-smoking medications.

More than 70 percent of Wisconsin residents with health insurance are covered for some form of quit-smoking help. Check your insurance policy to see if you're covered and call your insurer. The Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line may be able to help you figure out whether your health insurance policy covers medications to help you quit smoking.
